Belly Dance Performance

Last Saturday, on December 24, we had a belly dance performance near a train station, as I mentioned here. We all met at Kentucky Fried Chicken, and there we applied our make-ups and dressed ourselves in the outfits. Our performance was at three o'clock, and the teacher, earlier, told me to notify her when it was two thirty. We walked over to the train station at two forty, and we took a few pictures together. Than, we waited by the stage for our turn. Burrrgh!! It was freezing! (Thanks for pictures, everybody!!!)

Strangely enough, I wasn't nervous. However, my running nose was tedious! It was too cold for us to endure.

16th Birthday

I know it's been a while since my birthday passed, which happened on November 26, but I wanted to have a post about it. I was really happy on that day! It was simple, but I loved it. We had my Dad's homemade pizza (which was delicious!), and chocolate cake afterwards while watching a Alfred Hitchcock film.

Belly Dance Performance

On December 24th, I'm going to have a belly dance performance in front of a train station. At first, I thought my teacher said we're going to be performing at a junior high school, but then she informed us that it was going to be at a local train station (or near, I'm not sure.). Anyway, I was completely bewildered.

Two groups from my class are going to be performing. Five dancers in each group. In my group, three dancers stand in the front; two in the back. The other group is the other way around. The teacher put me in the front row, in the center. Uh-oh. I better not screw up then. I'm going to be incredibly nervous.

I'm not sure when the performance is going to take place. Somewhere between 1 p.m to 4 p.m, according to our teacher. I have no idea what we're going to wear, but I can already guess. :/

Wish me luck! Got a lot of practicing to do.

In Taipei: December 2nd ~ 5th.

Last Friday, on December 2th, My mom and I went to Taipei to see my grandparents and my cousin. I haven't seen them in months, so I was pretty excited. We got up around 6 a.m, and got to the train station around 7 a.m. We had a delicious vegetarian sandwich to eat on the train. We sat there for over 2 hours, but I wasn't bored since I had my MP5 and a book to read.

We got to Taipei around 10~11 a.m. We stayed there for about 3 days and came home on Monday afternoon. Here are the pictures! (The picture on the top left is a calligraphy that my Ah-gong - grandfather - wrote.)
