Cousins Visit Taichung

Yesterday afternoon, my uncle, my aunt, and my cousins came down to Taichung because my uncle had to attend a sort of meeting, I'm not sure. Anyway, while he was at his meeting, the five of us (my aunt and my mom, my two cousins, and I) went to have lunch at an organic food restaurant. Then, we went to a huge department store and walked around a bookstore. I bought two books: Airman by Eoin Colfer, and The Neverending Story by Michael Ende.

(Taking pictures were not allowed in the bookstore, so I didn't take any.) My cousins and I went to the 9th floor instead because there were some books there. Afterwards, we went to the 11th floor. So many good books up there. I should have been hanging around there instead of the 9th floor. Oh, well. At least I bought two books.

I had fun!!!

My Favorite Short Stories

Part of our work, my dad sometimes assigns my brother and I to read some famous short stories, some which are part of he American literature. I enjoyed some stories, and here are the links. (I'll probably update this post from time to time.)

Cats Coping with the Hot Weather

Well, summer is not even here yet, but the weather is incredibly hot. It's a killer. Whether I'm standing or sitting, I keep sweating. Here are some photos of how our cats cope with the weather - and some other funny pictures.
