"Stay alive."
My mom, my brother, and I went to see The Hunger Games yesterday. We would have seen the movie in the morning, but they didn't have a morning show, which means the movie is not as popular here as it is back in the States, where it's so hyped. I read the books a few weeks ago, introduced by a fellow blogger (Thanks!), and was hooked into it immediately. Therefore, my mom took us to see the movie. Here are some pictures!
They completely redone the train station.
My brother, puzzled over the news' events.
After lunch, we headed to the theater. My brother and I holding up our tickets.
We had very good seats.
After the film. We went in around 12:30 p.m, and came out at 3:00 p.m.
(No spoilers!) The Hunger Games felt incredibly long, despite it being only 140 minutes. The movie was okay, but the book was much better. I can understand many reviews were correct: whoever didn't read the book would probably feel the first half will drag. There were many scenes that I wished were included in the movie, but, oh, well. The CGI was pretty good, and the costume designs and settings were ridiculously amazing. Jennifer Lawrence delivered a well performance, and the rest of the cast was okay. Stanley Tucci, as Caesar Flickerman, did a good job. Well, overall, the movie was not bad.
Have a Happy Hunger Gam - I mean, have a great day!
