Belly Dance Performance, 2012/12/23

I had a belly dance performance on Sunday, the 23rd of December. We had been practicing this song for a while, so I remembered every move by heart. I thought everybody did a great job, since most of the members were only beginners.

It was so cold and so windy on that day! It did not help that while we stood at the corner, awaiting our turn, the speakers kept making tedious speeches, and the cold was chilling our bones. We were busily keeping ourselves warm.

Anyway, I was not nervous when we went onstage. It was actually quite fun! However, I do hope that the next time we perform, it won't be winter when we do so.

I have my mom and dad to thank for filming and taking the pictures. Here you go!

Skip to 1:30 for the song. If you want, you can increase the quality to 1080p! (Yes, I know. The wind.)

More Pet Photos

Here are some photos of our pets. The top two photos were taken from my new camera. (Yay!)

My dog is very cute when he folds his paws, but I don't know why he does it.

Yes, Lincoln likes the dustbin. Don't know why. (Honestly, half the things my pets do, I don't know what they're doing, or why.) But don't worry, she does clean herself up.

Update

Because I have no idea what to post, and I haven't updated my blog in a while, I'll just mention a few things.

One, I just turned seventeen recently, and I want to thank all my family (love you!!) and friends for their support and wishes.

Two, I have another belly dance performance later this month. I have already seen the outfit - in fact, I have it with me right now - and I would say the color is beautiful. At first, I thought the outfit was a bit shocking, because it seemed a tad revealing, but then I thought, it's not so bad. Now I have grown used to it, so I think the outfit is quite pretty.

Here are two pictures!

Hong Kong Trip

We went to Hong Kong on Monday night, and came back the following night, to handle some important matters. But that didn't stop us from taking pictures and admiring the views, once we got past the apprehensive plane trip, which was really not fun at all. The ear pressure, the occasional tense "bump", the headaches.... But we had a good time in Hong Kong, despite our matter. As well as Hong Kong being a elaborate, crowded city, there were all sorts of people as well. Germans, Italians, Indians, Americans, and many others I probably didn't know about. Because we wanted to leave a day early, we spend the rest of the afternoon on the second day wandering around Kowloon (九龍) admiring the city, waiting for our 6:55 p.m flight. My camera batteries died halfway through the trip, so I had to use my mom's camera. Enjoy the pictures!
