Taiwan

These are some interesting places in Taiwan where I've been to. If you want to see more pictures, click here.

The AquariumA very fun place to visit the aquatic life, The National Museum of Marine & Biology. Get to see all sorts of fish, whales, penguins, seals, and many others.

Taipei, Taiwan 130
Ximending (西門町): A young people's land, with shopping districts, theaters, restaurants, and other popular stores.

Cats and neighborhood 020 DSCF5737
Taichung: You can catch a glimpse of Taichung from 2009, the first picture. The second picture on the right is this link. It's Taichung city. We lunched at an organic store, and shopped at an department store.

New Palace

Lunch at New Palace: I liked the settings of the fancy, castle-lookalike buffet restaurant. No pictures of the buffet, sadly, just the interior of the entrance (and the bathroom. It was clean!).

Valentines Day Dinner

Valentine's Day Dinner: The interior of the restaurant seemed like a antique place. The outside, however, has a very nice view to love.

Miramar Entertainment Park (美麗華百樂園): There, we went to see a movie, and we got to ride a terrifying Ferris wheel, the second largest one in Taiwan, I think.

National Palace Museum: This is the same link as the one above. (We had a veyr busy summer.)

See what a concert looks like in Taiwan. We went to see Avril Lavigne on her Black Star tour in 2011!

Breaking Bad

Got the picture here, the article discussing about an episode on the show.
Imdb's descrption of Breaking Bad: To provide for his family's future after he is diagnosed with lung cancer, a chemistry genius turned high school teacher teams up with an ex-student to cook and sell the world's purest crystal meth.

Can I just take the time to say how much I love Breaking Bad? Well, I do, absolutely, love Breaking Bad!! That show was just fantastic!! It was so brilliant that we, meaning my family, always stayed up very late to watch it, and even then we were always reluctant to hit the sack. Moreover, there were moments or twists which occur so suddenly, I would just sit up and my jaw would drop (Not literally, of course.).

Got the picture from this interesting article concerning their wardrobe.
The characters were so wonderfully written. Nobody is good or bad, everybody is the perfect "shade or gray", said one of the characters on the show (I think). The character development was very real, especially intense for the main character. Sometimes I'm not sure whether to love him, hate him, sympathize with him, or feel sorry for him! Seriously, the show is a roller coaster ride for the feelings!

The settings? Beautiful! とても素敵!超漂亮的! Sometimes I thought they had a lot of fun shooting the scenery. The camera work? Terrific. The camera direction was handled very nicely. They always show where the characters really "stand".

We stayed up to 12 a.m to finish the finale. Oh boy, oh boy. The finale was amazing.... It was completely perfect. The main character also said something that completely broke my heart, but it was a fantastic scene. The ending was very satisfying!

Six seasons. Was Breaking Bad worth it? Oh, yeah.

If you're going to watch the show, enjoy the ride!
