Belly Dance Performance, 2012/12/23

I had a belly dance performance on Sunday, the 23rd of December. We had been practicing this song for a while, so I remembered every move by heart. I thought everybody did a great job, since most of the members were only beginners. 

 It was so cold and so windy on that day! It did not help that while we stood at the corner, awaiting our turn, the speakers kept making tedious speeches, and the cold was chilling our bones. We were busily keeping ourselves warm. 

 Anyway, I was not nervous when we went onstage. It was actually quite fun! However, I do hope that the next time we perform, it won't be winter when we do so.

I have my mom and dad to thank for filming and taking the pictures. Here you go!

    Wow, you look awesome :D I'm sorry about the late reply. I just didn't feel like checking on anything internet-related.

    My brother's birthday was on the 4th of December. :)

    My camera is an Olympus and while it's not small, it's quite slim, so it's easier to hold. And hey, did you hear about the new 3G camera from Samsung?

    Two hours on make-up? o.O that seems like a lot of work.

    I'm not gonna see The Hobbit. I want to read the books first. I read the Life of Pi book, and I wasn't very impressed, so I'm kinda doubtful about watching the movie. Didja watch it yet?

    Well, you know - cats land on their feet. Nothin'-a worry 'bout. But I do cringe when I see her scratching herself. I hate fleas and lice and parasites of the like. They make me want to commit seppuku.

    Which state in the US have you visited?

    No, but I think the 3G Samsung Camera is a total waste. It's just a touch-screen camera which can connect to wi-fi/use sim cards to access the internet and share pictures immediately. Not so different from a phone. It's actually rather disadvantageous, as you can get a phone that has the same ability and a lot others for a much lesser price.

    Have you read the rest of the Lord of the Rings books? My friend is a great fan of them. Oh, and Life of Pi is premiering on HBO this Saturday. I'm gonna give it a try. :)

    Cool! You've been to NC! I haven't been out of India, not even once. xD But my Dad says we're gonna visit my aunt and uncle and my cousins in NC, and maybe visit NY and Michigan as well this summer. (Yeah, I have some kind of attraction to Grand Rapids and the NY Yankees. xD) And in 2014, our school's organizing a trip to France. So I've started saving up for that. :P

    IDK if I've asked you before, but do you watch Hetalia?
