Three Reasons Why I Like to Live In Taiwan

There are three reasons why I like to live in Taiwan. The food, friends and the markets. The food here in Taiwan is wonderful, my friends are all good to me, and their are markets in the morning or at night. Good things!

The food in Taiwan is excellent. There is even Indian food in Taiwan. Taiwan's vegetables is very healthy for you. All kinds of vegetables. I love the vegetables here. If you go to a normal restaurant, the food will be all the same, but different flavors. In the morning, if you go out, you will see several breakfast shops open. Different food on the counter. There will be mantou, potstickers.. and other kinds of food. But the food isn't really so good at school. Taiwanese food is different then other countries. If you have Taiwanese food in anywhere else outside Taiwan, it might not taste like Taiwanese food.

My friends here are so supportive. They treat me differently than anyone else. Because I am American-Taiwanese. Back home in America, the kids never treated me that nice. During recess no one played with me. In art class, a girl made fun of me. But here, people are curious about me. Teachers, students, everyone! I was pretty popular. Of course I have friends outside my school. They are all good to me. Right now, my friends go to junior high. Every morning they get up so early. Tough life. The education in Taiwan is not so good. You can go to the night market to try the food there, it's always delicious.

There are morning markets and night markets (No idea if there is afternoon market). In the morning, some people will get up early to go to the market to buy food. Morning markets sell all kinds of things. Vegetables, for example, meat, noodles, fruit, clothes or anything. There are all kinds of stands. A long line of people selling things. Night markets are the fun part. Night markets will have food selling there. A place where you can sit to enjoy your dinner. They also have drinks to sale. Their are some game stands for children to play. Of course, I am too old to play now. There will be little cars to play with, a machine where you have to get the ball in the hole. And if you get all the balls in the hole, you win a prize. But they give you cheap toys that are made in china and the toys will break of easily. Other then that, everything else is good.

The three reasons why I like to live in Taiwan is because the food here is great, friends are wonderful to me and the morning and night market is a lot of fun. Taiwan is a great place to live. I love the food, friends and the market in Taiwan! They are all excellent!
