So, like I said, my glasses are black. And according to Wikipedia, my new glasses are half rim design. It's squared-shaped, and oh yes, on the side is silvery and black, and on the silvery part, it says "Harvard" on the side.
I'm 350 degrees -- if that's how you say it, and I'm nearsighted, which means I can't see far away distance. Last year, I was 250 degrees. However, since I love to read, draw, watch movies, etc, my eyesight has increased.
So, anyway, yesterday afternoon, I went to the Formosa Optical (寶島眼鏡) -- I really don't think that is the correct translation -- to get new glasses. At first, I was only getting new glass for my glasses, but then, ended up getting new glasses.
So, they told me to sit on a chair, they sort of put this gigantic version of the glasses in front of my eyes. They asked me to point which direction the "E" was. Then they asked me which lines -- 1 to 12, like a clock -- are darker. It was really hard for me to decide that, because most of them were pretty dark. So, I just picked what I thought was the darkest. So soon, after a while -- to me, anyway -- I got off the chair, wearing a pair of heavy glasses. I returned it after a short while.
I was fourth grade when I got my first pair of glasses. It was round and black. I soon founded out that round glasses don't suit me. So, I went for the pink squared-shape pair, which was in fifth grade. Now, it's a black half rim pair.
So, here are my new pair of glasses. (My mom said that I looked like I was selling these on Yahoo. Haha. )
My new glasses.
It says ''Harvard" on the side.
Me, wearing the glasses.
