The Glass Bottle.

Today is Moon Festival Day (中秋節). Everyone is out and about, barbecuing. But we decided to stay home. I wrote a poem on September 1, and I want to show to you all.

❁ ❁
☠ The glass bottle of water,
☠ Stands perpendicular to the floor.
☠ With no color or comfort,
☠ It has nothing to love anymore.

☠ The glass bottle falls
☠ Parallel to the floor.
☠ Lying flat and still,
☠ It won't stand anymore.

☠ The water pours out,
☠ Unwilling to stop.
☠ Wants to cry aloud
☠ Yet it stays silent

☠ The bottle lies on the floor,
☠ Still and weak, yet it stays.
☠ Refusing to stand tall anymore
☠ The bottle is empty.

☠ The water is all over the place.
☠ Yet it refuses to move.
☠ Refusing to look at our face,
☠ Unwilling to climb on.

☠ The glass bottle breaks one day.
☠ Yet no one cleans the broken glass
☠ Time files and we walk away.
☠ The bottle lies there.

☠ The glass bottle deep in its thoughts,
☠ Wishing to have been stronger
☠ Thinking if it had another chance,
☠ It would change.
