On Friday afternoon, my mom and I took the HSR (High Speed Rail) back to Taipei to see my grandparents and my cousin. We had so much fun. On our first night, my mom and I went to the night market. The next day, my aunt, my mom, my cousin, and I went to an art store. We took the bus there. That same night, all four of us, plus my grandparents went to this delicious vegetarian food restaurant. The next day, I hanged around with my cousin, and I helped her with her English. We got home on Monday, around 2 p.m. Here are some pictures! (Picture on the left is me wearing my cousin's wig.)
Day 1: Trip to Taipei.

Still here in Taichung.

In the train. On our way to the HSR.

Taichung Main Station.

Inside the HSR.

Restaurants on the side.

The bathroom. (
So clean! )

:"D

My mom buying tickets. Not the same place as the photo above.

Waiting for the train.

A woman was staring at me, so I was staring back at her. (And, yes. That's how I held the bag.)

A shot of the city. Not a very good one, though.

Getting on the train.

Inside the train.

The train tracks on the side.

My mom reading the paper.

Stopping at another station.

We finally arrived in Taipei!

Getting Pig's Blood Cake. (Sorry, that's the only translation I know. Haha.)

At my Ah-gong and Ah-ma's (grandpa;grandma) house.

My mom and I went to a market that night.

We stopped to dinner.

Along the way, we stopped to eat some ice.
:)

My mom buying clothes.

Taiwan's Lifestyle: Motorcycles.
Day 2: Art Valley

We had this for lunch.

A broken house at the corner.

My mom and my aunt crossed the road first.

We took the bus to the alley of art stores.

An art & trades school on the side.

We stopped by to eat more ice.

The prices.

Our ice and ice cream ball. It had fruit buried by the ice.

My mom's slushi. (Mmmm.. who's hungry for more?)

We left after we ate.

On the bus, on our way home....

Well, not
exactly. My cousin stopped by to buy a pen, and we waited in line for a
long time.
Dinner at a vegetarian restaurant.
Noodles came first.
I don't know some of these dishes names', but it was really good.
With cheese and pineapple wrapped up inside.
That's how you eat it. Sorry, the photo isn't too clear.
And now, dessert! We ate too much that night. Whooo!

And we went home on Monday. :(
I apologize for the wait. We had so much fun. Thanks for reading! I'll be grateful for any comments. :)
