On Sunday, November 20, we attended a political opening in Taichung city. We left around 7 o'clock in the morning, and got there in about half an hour. We stopped to eat at a local breakfast shop, then we went to the opening. (Picture on the left: the one with the white words mean, "Taiwan's first woman president". The words in orange mean: "Tsai Ing-Wen".)
The president candidate, Tsai Ing-Wen (蔡英文) was going to be there, along with vise-president candidate Su Jia-chyuan (蘇嘉全), and running for the legislature, Lin Chia-lung (林佳龍), and other DPP (Democratic Progressive Party) members Su Tseng-Chang (蘇貞昌), Yu Shyi-Kun (游錫堃), and many others.
Seven o'clock in the early morning.
My brother smiled for the camera.
The entrance.
Stands were set up on the side.
My dad signed the guestbook.
So did my mom.
A sea of chairs.
This is from our seats.
My brother and I support "Taiwan Next" and Lin Chia-lung.
A group called the "Lucky Sisters" entertained us.
The pink signs meant Tsai Ing-Wen is great, and the one in green said, "Taiwan."
Hey! WAHOO! CHINESE DRAGON!
