My Kindle

Earlier last month, my dad bought me a Kindle for my birthday from Amazon. It's really cool, and very convenient. You can change the font size, and look up a definition of a word. (Just scroll down to a certain word.) You can put up at least 20,000 books. Wow! So far, I've read Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, some Agatha Christie novels, and I'm currently reading Wuthering Heights, and on the 8th book of A Series of Unfortunate Events. I'm in love with reading! What do you think of the Kindle?

Happy New Year, folks!

  1. I'm sorry to say, but I gave up on Artemis Fowl and The Golden Compass. You see, I like fast moving, action filled books, not mysterious, take-some-time-to-build-up books. So I'm reading Goosebumps: Say Cheese and Die! now, and that's kind of bugging me too.
The Kindle seems cool, my friend Gitu has a Kindle App. But I'm more into real paper books, and you feel a kind of euphoria when you hold a nice fast paperback in your hand for the first time and smell the wonderful smell of paper, if you see what I mean. But to the contrary, no one ever seems to understand what I mean :P

And thanks about the blog link. I've always admired Voldemort, and Kronos, if you read Percy Jackson. So most of all, I like antagonists :)

    Peace ^^

  4. You feel really happy when you finish solving the Cube :) Yeah, I read the first book of Narnia. It was cool, but the movie was better, I'd say. You get books on the Kindle for FREE? :O Actually the Percy Jackson movie was TOTALLY different from the book, except about saving Sally and returning the Lightning Bolt.
    Please add me :)
    Peace ^^

  5. Hey!
No, I haven't read Series of Unfortunate Events before, but I plan to. There are TWO Percy Jackson series, Percy Jackson & The Olympians and The Heroes of Olympus. I'm reading the first series which has five books. I gonna buy the the fifth one.
    And thanks :)
