Belly Dance Performance, March 23, 2013

Once again, we had another belly dance performance. This time, the event, which was hosted by my teacher, took place indoors. We performed the same song we did last time, so the outfit was the same, but there were some slight changes regarding our make-up.

We got together at a house, spent two hours caking our faces with make-up, then drove over to the place where we would be performing.

We rehearsed onstage first. I was a little nervous, because everybody was really adept at their dances. But I tried my best, and I thought we did a pretty good job! Here are some pictures, but no pictures or film were allowed to be taken during the show, so there are only a few.

You can't even see me here. The dancers were surprisingly tall!

We gave our teacher some flowers. She was ecstatic to see her favorite doll in there: Hello Kitty.

Finally, we got up to leave.

  1. Wow, I wish I could dance someday. But my body is not quite flexible, if you know what I mean, and I'm a little afraid of stages.

Aw, thanks! You don't know how nice it is to hear something like that. :) you have an amazing personality as well, and I enjoy reading your posts, a lot.

I haven't heard of the book, just the musical. And while reading Spellbound, did you ever get the feeling that it isn't as interesting as the the first two books?

I'd LOVE to learn to ride a motorbike someday, but I'm more interested in cars, so I'll probably put it after that task. :P

  2. Lol, true. :D I still love to read Enid Blyton and draw cartoons.

OMG I DID *NOT* LIKE THE ENDING. Cal died?! That was SO unfair. NONONONONONONONO THISCANNOTGOONLIKETHIS GOODTHINGITSOVER. Some parts were a little awkward and I couldn't help but feel that things were rushed over. And also, I think the hell part could've had more fire and brimstone xD Overall, though, I really liked it. Except that CAL DIED!!!! NO WTF x(

Recommend me one more book! (Or a lot more!) I'd love to check them out.
