On Sunday, I went to meet my friends! It was so much fun. Thirteen people came. We were to meet at McDonald's at 8 o'clock in the morning. Very early, I know. But it's the only way to get a seat on a Sunday, especially when one of my friends, Hong Ting, had to go back to school at 9. But she came back around 10:30. We were hanging out at McDonald's, waiting for another friend of ours, but we heard he was going to come around 12 o'clock, so we left. We took a bus to another place where many young people hang out and shop. Guess where we had lunch? At a place where the seats are toilets and the tables are bathroom sinks, only with a glass over it. It reminded me of another bathroom picture I saw two months ago. Anyway, enjoy the pictures! :)
This was where we hanged out in McDonald's.
The slide at the back
Yu Shien and Hong Ting, who prepared to leave.
Yan Ru watched on.
The guys had their breakfast: hamburgers.
Shian Ping watched Yu Shien play with a cellphone.
Jing Wen, played with hers.
Yan Ru ordered a drink.
Yu Tong.
Jien Chen and Ming Jia watched Yu Shien play a game on the cellphone.
Se Han finally smiled for the camera.
..... And so did I.
Ming Jia.
Jen Yu finally showed up! Except that Yu Tong blocked his view.
Finally! This was the first time I'd seen Jen Yu in two years.
All looking at the cellphone.
Meanwhile, a construction work at the train station ahead.
Yu Tong was just kidding around.
(Sorry, not a very good picture.) Li Tian arrived! It had been two years... Wow!
Hong Ting returned from her school.
Well, at our generation, cellphones are important.
All our jackets piled on the table.
Yu Shien looked at Hong Ting's phone.
We were careful not to disturb others, which was difficult.
(Evil laughter) I got you first!
Yu Shien and Hong Ting listened to the stories.
The group.
Well, like I said before, we didn't want to wait any longer for our friend. So we left first. We took a bus, but we went separately, which I thought was a bad idea.
On the bus. It was a very long ride.
We arrived. Yes, Barbie does exist.
It was really hard to get a picture of Se Han, but I succeeded.
Well, when we found them, we found Shian Ping having his hair washed and cut!!
The place.
Ming Jia read a magazine while Jian Chen, well, being bored.
Everybody went to watch Shian Ping wash his hair, while Se Han and I stayed in the waiting room. (Li Tian in the picture here.)
Next, our lunch, at a bathroom restaurant.
The tables are sinks.
Everybody in thier seat.
Li Tian and Se Han.
Us at the table.
Yan Ru took this with her cellphone.
It doesn't work, luckily.
The toilets as seats.
Li Tian.
We all had the same thing for lunch.
Me and three other girls went to buy a drink.
The stand where Hong Ting and Se Han bought their drinks.
We went back to the Bathroom Restaurant.
After we left, we headed for the 7 eleven. A shoe store was next to it.
The girls admired the shoes.
After the 7 eleven, we went to the bookstore. It was a shame I didn't take any pictures.
We took the bus back. A 30 dollar fare.
We were back at McDonald's. Li Tian and I waited for our mothers to pick us up.
Gathering the bikes.
Ya!
Almost every teenager in Taiwan have the same hairstyle, and they are also afraid to be different. The shirt I wore was a soldier shirt, and it got Yu Tong to asked me if I was a soldier, and Jen Yu's friend asked me if I thought it was weird, wearing a shirt like that. I'm home schooled, but I went to elementary school here.
My friends you saw today was actually my classmates from when I was in elementary school. Li Tian and Jen Yu, I haven't seen them since my elementary graduation day, until Sunday. I was nearly influenced and affected by the education and the peer pressure here. Thankfully, home schooling saved me.

That bathroom food place is awesome! Looks like you had a lot of fun. I know what you mean by the influence, I get it all the time. Horray for homeschooling! :D
ReplyDeleteOoh, yeah, it was cool! :) And it was pretty fun.
