I took a test to get my high school diploma in Taipei last week (For the test, see here.). I passed thankfully. I walked into the testing center at 8:20 a.m, came out at 1:50 p.m. (Good thing I had a large breakfast!) As you can imagine, I walked out feeling triumphant and relieved, because after the test I could finally have some fun. Here are the pictures!
Wednesday afternoon, at the train station.
Here comes the train!
My first time in this sort of high-speed train.
Sunglasses for the win!
Mom, holding out the tickets.
In Taipei that night.
Dinner: Vietnamese food.
The next morning, the test day!! Taipei 101 in the background.
Breakfast.. breakfast... trying not to think about the test.
It was pretty early in the morning, so there was hardly anyone around.
At the testing center, right before the test. My heart was pounding like crazy.
Almost 5 hours later, having a late lunch at a department store underground.
Mom, cheerful as always.
A purse! Guess we shouldn't be surprised if a oversize Barbie comes strollin' in. (That would be creepy.)
The busy streets of Taipei on a normal Thursday afternoon.
A group of buses.
My family checking out a pair of jeans my mom and I bought at the department store.
Dinner on Friday night: vegetarian food.
Saturday morning: Karoake!
First time I've ever been to a KTV place.
Later that afternoon, my mom made us fruit-milk juice.
Very healthy!
My cousin made this dish. It was pretty delicious!
A normal Taiwanese meal....
In the market on Sunday night.
NO NUKE!
Thanks for reading! :)
